PathwayDB? - VCell Integration

Collaborative project between Burnham and UCHC

Overview

The goals of this project are:

  • to make resources developed and maintained at Burnham available to VCell users
  • to develop analytical tools for qualitative analysis of Burnham data

The list of major features/functionalities to be added to PathwayDB? at Burnham:

    • visualization of PIP networks using Sybil
    • semi-automatic generation of rule-based models
    • custom animation of pathways encoded in a rule-based model

The list of major features/functionalities to be added to VCell:

    • a user-friendly interface for rule-based model generation based on data provided by Burnham
    • a suite for displaying animation models

Aim 1: BioNetGen? interface for PathwayDB?

Aim 2: VCell tools for import of PathwayDB? models
